Dr. Brian Schillig

Dr. Schillig received his undergraduate and degree from Bowling Green State University and his veterinary medical degree from The Ohio State University. He started his career in the emergency service for a busy specialty hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Dr. Schillig is driven by being able to help his patients and their owners through the very stressful time of emergency care. He realizes it is hard for everyone and works hard to help clients by walking them through those difficult experiences.

Outside of work, Dr. Schillig loves to ride bicycles, both road bikes and Peloton. He is passionate about converting his home and lifestyle to renewable energy such as solar panels, electric mowers, and electric cards. When he is not on the bike or at work, you can find Dr. Schillig spending time with his daughter (12) and his son (10.

Dr. Lauren Clements

Dr. Clements received her undergraduate and veterinary medical degree from Oklahoma State University. She has strong interest in emergency medicine and has been with Animal Urgent Care since 2008.

Her love of puppies and ponies made her want to be a veterinarian. Since coming to North Carolina, Dr. Clements has become a big fan of North Carolina State University. Go Pack!

Dr. Alicyn Cross

Dr. Alicyn Cross received her BS from Michigan State University before completing her veterinary medical degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She has strong interests in soft tissue surgery and wound repair/reconstruction. Dr. Cross completed her internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists

Fun fact, Dr. Cross used to breed and show chinchillas. She loves seeing a sick or injured pet leave better and all patched up. In her spare time, Dr. Cross enjoys spending time with her husband and son.


Weeknights: 6pm-8am
Weekends: 24 hours
Holidays: 24 hours
