Dr. Lauren Clements

Dr. Clements received her undergraduate and veterinary medical degree from Oklahoma State University. She has strong interest in emergency medicine and has been with Animal Urgent Care since 2008.

Her love of puppies and ponies made her want to be a veterinarian. Since coming to North Carolina, Dr. Clements has become a big fan of North Carolina State University. Go Pack!

Dr. Alicyn Cross

Dr. Alicyn Cross received her BS from Michigan State University before completing her veterinary medical degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She has strong interests in soft tissue surgery and wound repair/reconstruction. Dr. Cross completed her internship at Carolina Veterinary Specialists

Fun fact, Dr. Cross used to breed and show chinchillas. She loves seeing a sick or injured pet leave better and all patched up. In her spare time, Dr. Cross enjoys spending time with her husband and son.

Dr. Julie Anzaldua

Dr. Anzaldua received her BS degree from NC State University and MS degree from the University of Nebraska before returning to NC State University to pursue her veterinary degree. She has a strong interest in emergency medicine and enjoys the variety of cases at Points East.

Dr. Shay Fizer

Dr. Fizer received his A.A from Tidewater Community College, B.S from Old Dominion University, and DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. He has special interests in diagnostic abdominal ultrasound, critical care, and soft tissue surgery.
