Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Lauren Clements

Emergency Veterinarian

Dr. Clements received her undergraduate and veterinary medical degree from Oklahoma State University. She has strong interest in emergency medicine and has been with Animal Urgent Care since 2008.

Dr. Alicyn Cross

Emergency Veterinarian

Dr. Alicyn Cross received her BS from Michigan State University before completing her veterinary medical degree from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She has strong interests in soft tissue surgery and wound repair/reconstruction. 

Dr. Julie Anzaldua

Emergency Veterinarian

Dr. Anzaldua received her BS degree from NC State University and MS degree from the University of Nebraska before returning to NC State University to pursue her veterinary degree. She has a strong interest in emergency medicine and enjoys the variety of cases at Points East. 

Dr. Shay Fizer

Emergency Veterinarian

Dr. Fizer received his A.A from Tidewater Community College, B.S from Old Dominion University, and DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. He has special interests in diagnostic abdominal ultrasound, critical care, and soft tissue surgery.

If you require a payment plan, we offer health care credit plans which include CareCredit and Scratchpay. You can apply in person or online. If you are interested, please ask the receptionist for more details.

Due to increased case volume, our wait times can become very extended.
